Thank you to GolfCharlie and Claude Code for fixing the code to work with the newly changed FAA API! They have saved a lot of time. A new image has been created and will be uploaded today and available later tonight. If you don't want or need the image, you can visit https://github.com/markyharris/livesectional and incorporate the changes into your board now.

There has been another change to the FAA API which has again broke the map. We are currently working on this. Check back for fix. If you have the fix please post it. - Mark

Has anyone used canvas as a map? I’m trying to think of any pros/cons.
The bigger concern would be if the holes for the led’s would start to rip and cause other issues.
Ive got the idea to have a canvas printed with a deep edge (1.5”). Through a back behind it for support and it would turn out nice.

That's an interesting idea. I've never considered it. I wonder if you could get away with not cutting holes, and just let the light shine through the canvas? - Mark

That is interesting.  Before I went the route of direct printing on MDO, I was playing with vinyl and other print mediums, attached to a substrate.  The trick to getting clean holes was to use a leather punch first on the print, then drill the substrate.  It was very important to have a it very evenly glued, though, as if there was any lack of adhesion where drilling, you'd end up with material under the print that was impossible to get out.  I was playing with wood and plexi substrates, but both had the same issue.
