Thank you to GolfCharlie and Claude Code for fixing the code to work with the newly changed FAA API! They have saved a lot of time. A new image has been created and will be uploaded today and available later tonight. If you don't want or need the image, you can visit https://github.com/markyharris/livesectional and incorporate the changes into your board now.

There has been another change to the FAA API which has again broke the map. We are currently working on this. Check back for fix. If you have the fix please post it. - Mark

Having a challenge - Hope you can help. Loaded the image... Pi boots to command and starts running metar-display-v31.py but starts returning errors and hangs. I don't use OLEDs if that matters... Might there be a fix?

As discussed off this site running sudo raspi-config and connecting the pi to your WiFi resolves this issue. We will try to update the documentation to reflect this better.

thanks!

The info for setting up the wifi on the RPI can be found here; https://www.livesectional.com/led-bulb-based-project/ .

Its about 1/4 of the way down the page under the heading of Basic Configuration. Hope this helps - Mark
