There has been another change to the FAA API which has again broke the map. We are currently working on this. Check back for fix. If you have the fix please post it. - Mark
I made a change and then saved the config file and it started to refresh and do the rainbow transition, but then it got stuck on the transition colors. Areas that are VFR were showing red or blue. Another refresh got it working normally.
I had that happen to me once as well, but only once. I've yet to duplicate it. So let me know if you see it again. Thanks for pointing that out. - Mark
@markyharris the freezing happens at least every other time I save the config file. Sometimes twice in a row and then the third save works.

Next time it happens, please download the logfile and post it here so I can look at it. Maybe I can see something. Also, if you have a monitor connected and notice that an error message is displayed, please take a picture and post it. - Mark
I saved the config file twice and it froze on the wipe and got stuck. Same on save #2, on save #3 it refreshed correctly. It just happened around 11:20 or so pm.
I saved the config file after making some tweaks and I let it sit there when it looked like it was stuck. After about 10-15 seconds it did show the correct METAR colors. On another save after the rainbow transition there was no pause after the rainbow and it immediately showed the right colors.
Also the legend stays dark until the correct METARs are shown. Not sure if they should be part of the rainbow or not. Not a big deal, just passing on the observation.
This happened a few times this morning, it freezes after the transition runs but it then never goes to the correct weather.
