My map has sat for a year and had a set of wires broken off the multiplexer. After soldering them back on the display is still scrambled. The words for OLED is the first one next to the last OLED that is scrambled of #3 as they count form Zero.

The map is working fine and all the wires seem connected so I'm not sure what I need to fix. I have a 4 piece connector that came off one of the OLED's that is scrambled so I suppose one of those is damaged?

Any thoughts?

Hello-

I was wondering if it would be possible to display the entire METAR on a display similar to this website's version?

Whole Metar on OLED

Also, I'd like to just use 2-4 total OLED's and use them to scroll among some local airport overall. So say each display would have (4) airports each and rotate among them. This would be great in conjuction with the above thought.

Thanks for your help!

I just added 4 OLEDs to my current configuration and would like to make each one part of a different "insert" within my map. For my map, I took the larger scale US Wall Planning FAA chart and pulled out the state of FL and overlayed parts of the sectionals for MIA, TPA, MCO, and JAX out in the open water spaces. Ideally, I'd like to put an OLED inside each of these "boxes" and have it only rotate through METAR info for the respective airport (or airports) within it's box.

Perhaps I'm missing some configuration setting, but any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

so im trying to connect at least 5 OLED's to start, well anyways when i finally got one OLED to power up and work and scan through the metar's the moment i change the OLED count in the settings to anything other the "1" the OLED freezes and does not update. Ive tested all 5 OLEDs and all are working properly. On the multiplexer i can only get the 1 OLED to function on the "SD1/SC1" even when the settings are set to 1 OLED. ive tested all other ports on the multiplexer and only number 1 ports will work, ive ordered a spare multiplexer and tested and now i am unable to get any display function

is there a way to possible do both? Maybe if winds are above the threshold set they get priority in displaying them somewhere in the sequence of OLED? Or maybe they last few displays are used? Just curious how to use this cool feature.
